engineer by training, strategist by profession, and
designer by curiosity
with a passion for
INNOVATION + IMPACT.
A deep curiosity paired with technical rigor has pushed me towards innovation in healthcare, technology, and impact-driven business models. Previously on the portfolio team at Nike’s new digital business incubator, Valiant Labs, I led the evaluation of new portfolio investment opportunities, synthesizing emerging market trends within direct-to-consumer products. Before that at Amgen, a large biotechnology company, I explored how to apply emerging technologies to our operations department and transform our reach to patients. Within business strategy, I managed projects leveraging data analytics, data science, augmented/virtual reality, digital health, and device IoT from ideation to implementation.
Growing up in the Silicon Valley, I saw the powerful impact of technology from an early age. Hoping to create impactful solutions leveraging technology, I pursued a degree in Bioengineering with a technical breadth in Technology Management, graduating Cum Laude from UCLA. Living in Los Angeles and traveling taught me much more. I expanded my view of impact from pure STEM to sustainability, social impact, social enterprise, and design thinking with formal training, project, and nonprofit experiences. I continued to integrate these disciplines pursuing an MBA at MIT Sloan and MPA at the Harvard Kennedy School with a goal to improve access to healthcare through innovative business models, technologies and partnerships.
